#1 FAMILY GUY

Where do I even start with this one... Now I've seen a lot of adult cartoons (Please don't take that the wrong way), but I can honestly say that out of all of them I find myself laughing the most when I watch this show, AND I MEAN LAUGHING. Characters like Stewie Griffin, Quagmire, and Peter Griffin are all reasons why Family Guy has consistently stayed on top to me despite their various offensive remarks towards many religions. If an adult cartoon comedy is what you're looking for, then FAMILY GUY is your solution.

the boondocks

At #2, The Boondocks is probably the most creative adult cartoon on this list. Robert, who is the grandfather of Riley and Huey Freeman, moves himself and his grandchildren out of the hood in Chicago and into the suburbs of Wood Crest. This is where the show begins and characters like the incredibly black but racist Uncle Ruckus and Ed Wuncler III are introduced. Pretty much every single character is hilarious if you want me be to be honest, but  everyone who has seen the show can agree that Riley is definitely a favorite. Not taking shit from anyone and doing almost whatever he wants, Riley keeps the show alive in every episode.

#3 Futurama

TV-14 | 22 minute episodes

A favorite since my diaper days...or a little after that, Futurama is a pioneer for a lot of adult cartoons that are around today. The main characters are Philip, Turanga, and Bender. The three of them plus a few other characters make their way through space on hilarious adventures encountering a numerous amount of people and creatures from all over. Out of everyone I would say that Bender is the Superman of this show. Without him it wouldn't be near as funny as it is.
