thadd's top 4 tarantino films
Of course my favorite, and in my opinion, most talented filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is going to have his own category on my movie recommendations list. Having been around longer than most of us have been alive, if you've ever seen an old Tarantino film and compared it to the ones he is making today, you see that a lot of them have the same themes and movie transitions but have improved a ton when it comes to plot and dialogue. Unlike most modern day films who rely on action scenes and crazy unrealistic things that would most likely never happen, Tarantino puts more into what his characters are saying to intrigue its viewers. This is why I LOVE HIS FILMS.

#1 THE HATEFUL EIGHT

If you don't believe me you can ask any of my close friends...I LOVE THIS MOVIE! In fact, I even watched it five times in a row one day right after it had gotten released on DVD. Although it starts off slower than almost any movie I've ever seen, it quickly picks up after four of the main characters (Major Marquis Warren, John Ruth, Sheriff Chris Mannix, and Daisy Domergue) reach the Minnie's Haberdashery, a barn, bar, and store where 80 percent of the movie takes place. The movie hosts very well known stars such as Samuel L. Jackson (Major Marquis Warren), Kurt Russell ( John Ruth), Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, and for you ladies, Channing Tatum... LOL

#2 inglourious basterds
R | 2 hours 33 minutes
The only reason I had to put this Tarantino film over the loved and well known movie "Django Unchained" is because of the acting...flawless all throughout this movie it is as my Brodie Yoda would say. Not saying that Django didn't have amazing acting as well, Inglorious was just the Michael Jordan of acting whereas Django was Kobe, so you get what I'm sayin (They're both very good hush up). As always, Brad Pitt put on another stellar acting job in his role as Lieutenant Aldo Raine. Leading a band of primarily Jews, the "Inglourious Basterds" are on the hunt for any Nazi soldiers they can get their knives, bats, and bullets on, with Hitler as their main target. Aside from them, a young lady with a devastating memory of Colonel Hans Landa, a Nazi Officer played by famous actor Christoph Waltz, is also doing what she can to get her revenge on any Nazis she can, especially him. Below my ratings on the movie is the beginning of his movie. I love when a movies opening scene can bring you in and make you want to watch more...and this scene certainly does that.

#3 django unchained
R | 2 hours 45 minutes
Terrific plot, terrific acting, and terrific scenes pretty much sums up this Quentin Tarantino film. Actors Christolph Waltz and Jamie Foxx are absolutely amazing at playing Django and Dr. King Schultz, which are the main characters of the film. Being freed by Dr. Schultz in the beginning of the film, Django is on a quest to find and save his beloved wife Broomhilda von Shaft from a plantation called "Candieland" owned by Calvin Candie, who is played by famous actor Leonardo DiCaprio. You could say they have a rather eventful journey as they make their way from the north down into the south where Candieland is located. There largest bump in the road appears when Calvin's racist and obnoxious servant, Stephan, who is played by Tarantino favorite Samuel L. Jackson, figures out Dajngo and Dr. Schultz plan and attempts to foil everything they have been working for. It's a little off topic but anyone who's seen the boondocks will definitely find a resemblance in Stephen and Uncle Ruckus...racist, black, and ugly as hail (I know how to spell I just don't like saying the word hell. Fuck I just said it, never mind).

Another Tarantino best... You will absolutely love this movie I promise you. Creative, shocking, disturbing, and filled with action, "Pulp Fiction" is without a doubt one of the most unique films that Quintin Tarantino has ever created. Although some parts might leave you a little disgusted, the intensity and overall rush of this film will still entertain you.
