(THE DARK KNIGHT - COVER)
#1 the dark knight
PG-13 | 2 hours 32 minutes
It's still pretty earlY to call it one but "The Dark Knight" is without a doubt a movie classic in my opinion! With a plot based off the 2o plus years rivalry of Batman and The Joker, this movie tells the story of their epic battle the best if you ask me. The Joker has always been a rather evil character that still found time to tell jokes and laugh away and things that no one else found funny, and out of anyone else that I've ever seen try to portray this character, actor Heath Ledger certainly did it the best (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008). With drastic and unpredictable turns in almost every scene, The Dark Knight is probably the greatest film out of all the Batman Movies. Definitely check this one out!
PLOT
When the menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, the caped crusader must come to terms with one of the greatest psychological tests of his ability to fight injustice.

(THAT MAN IN THE MIDDLE CRAZY AF)
#2 no country for old men (2007)
R | 2 hours 2 minutes
To be honest this movie feels exactly like a Quentin Tarantino film although it is not. Big on dialogue, slow developing, and incorporating some serious acting, "No Country For Old Men" is a brilliant film that I've never heard a single person talk down on. Before this movie I had no idea actor Javier Bardem existed, but after watching this film he became one of favorite actors based off of his tremendous performance as a serial killer by the name of Anton Chigurh. If you like movies like The Hateful Eight, True Grit, or Pulp Fiction, then this movie is without a doubt for you. Another "MUST SEE" from Thaddeus LaGrone.
PLOT
Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong and more than two million dollars in cash near the Rio Grande.

#3 SWORDFISH
R | 1 hour 39 minutes
This science fictional thriller is absolutely brilliant to me. With top names like Hugh Jackman, John Travolta, Halle Berry, and Don Cheadle, "Swordfish" is packed with incredible talent that helps the story line tremendously. The plot revolves around a well known hacker by the name of Stanley, (played by Hugh Jackman) who is hired by a mysterious terrorist that offers him a ton of money to break down a banks' firewall and transfer funds for him. Of course it doesn't turn out that easy or there wouldn't be a movie about it. If suspense, erotic scenes, shooting, and science fiction is your thing, then Swordfish is for you.

(DOUBLE JEOPARDY - COVER)
#4 DOUBLE JEOPARDY
R | 1 hour 45 minutes
Love this film. Some of Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd's best work in my opinion. "Double Jeopardy" is about a woman who's husband frames her for his "death" and creates a new identity and life with one of her friends. Putting the pieces together over time, when she is released she goes on the hunt for him knowing that she can't be retried for his murder because of the "Double Jeopardy" law.

(ALONG CAME A SPIDER - COVER)
#5 ALONG CAME A SPIDER
R | 1 hour 44 minutes
I can promise you that you won't be able to guess the ending to this one. Morgan Freeman and Monica Potter were incredible in this movie. Working together as characters Alex Cross and Jezzie Flannigan, both officers are on the hunt for serial killer and pretend to be school teacher by the name of Gary Soneji who has kidnapped a congressman's daughter. This movie is a must see.

(CHRISTINE - COVER)
#7 christine (1983)
R | 1 hour 50 minutes
A very unique film with a unique story line. "Christine" is an older film that will certainly keep your hands close to your face in case you have to cover up your eyes from all of the suspense. Although the graphics may be a little below standard compared to modern day movies, I can promise you that this movie will still entertain you thriller lovers very much. Creative, different, and very spooky, Christine will always be a movie that I would recommend you to see.

(COLLATERAL - COVER)
#8 collateral
R | 2 hours
Stellar performances from Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. "Collateral" is a thriller/action film filled with intense scenes and events that you won't be able to predict. This movie is rated R however I do feel like it's okay for younger people to see. There's only around 3-4 major shooting scenes that actually don't have too much blood in them.
PLOT

"THAT MY BRIEFCASE?"
(A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE - COVER)
#9 a history of violence (2005)
R | 1 hour 36 minutes
Very entertaining film that is packed with action and suspense as soon as the plot begins to unravel. Not to mention two superb acting performances by both Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris. Just like its title, "A History of Violence" certainly does have a lot of "violence" in this film. One of my favorite thrillers on this list!
PLOT
A mild-mannered man becomes a local hero through an act of violence, which sets off repercussions that will shake his family to its very core.

DINER SCENE
(PANIC ROOM - COVER)
#10 panic room (2002)
R | 1 hour 52 minutes
One of Jodie Foster's and Forest Whitaker's best performances. In a movie where the scene doesn't change that much at all (They're in a house the whole movie), "Panic Room" needed actors and actresses who could help bring the plot to life, and they certainly found the right people for the job. This actually might be the most suspenseful film on this list when I think about it; With heart stopping scenes and events happening at the drop of a hat, I can promise you that you will love this film.
PLOT

#12 xmen: days of future past
PG-13 | 2 hours 13 minutes
THIS MOVIE IS THE SHIT! One of the best out of all the X-MEN movies! Although it conflicts with the original story line a little bit, I'll still go ahead and give this movie a "Thadd Thumbs Up". TERRIFIC FILM! Check it out.
